Please introduce yourself, and what is your position at The H Dubai
“My name is Tina, and I am the Senior Sales Manager at The H Dubai. I oversee the entire events department; however, my passion lies in planning weddings and social events. I have been in the events industry for over 9 years now but have always had a love for wedding planning. Being from Jordan, I particularly enjoy planning Arabic weddings which is great as it is one of our primary target segments at The H Dubai.”
What is it you love about what you do?
“What I like the most about my job is the chance to meet a lot of different people. As a sociable person, being in contact with guests, learning about different culture and traditions and understanding their expectation, comes naturally to me and to be able to meet and exceed their expectations makes me happy. My goal is always to provide the best service and ensure that their most special day goes through without any hitches.
A wedding is a moment of joy and happiness. We help brides and grooms in realizing their dream, and this is also what I love about my job.”
What Makes The H Dubai Hotel so Special?
“The hotel is centrally located in Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road which is convenient for invitees coming from different areas of the city. Secondly, we have a spacious ballroom, called Al Massa, that can be divided into three according to the guests’ preferences and size of event.
The H Dubai has a grand marble staircase connecting the entrance to the ballroom which allows the bride and groom to make a striking entry. This is appreciated for the Zaffa procession and dance which is a tradition during Arabic weddings. The staircase is also the perfect area for a pre or post wedding photoshoot with family and friends. Another great location to take incredible wedding photos is the hotel lobby with its Arabic inspired décor.
Furthermore, the hotel has everything a bride and groom may need for their special day including a beauty salon, spa, restaurants, and rooms to accommodate their guests. The bride can also book one of our special suites – over 120sqm wide to get ready with her bridal party for the ceremony.”
What level of privacy can you offer couples looking for a very private location for their event?
“The ballroom is located in a private area at the hotel which covers the entire level. It is accessible via a special entrance which gives more intimacy to the wedding party. The only way to reach the ballroom is either by the elevators or the stairs.
There is also a majlis which can accommodate up to 8 people such as VIP guests, family members, the bride and her bridal party or the couple while waiting for their entry in the ballroom.”
Do You Have Multiple Event Spaces Throughout The Hotel?
“Yes, we have 15 meeting rooms located on the second floor of the hotel. The smallest room can accommodate 3 people while the biggest one, 120 people. Some meeting rooms have natural day light, others can be split in 2.
Additionally, the Royal Penthouse Suite, spread on 2 floors, has a terrace, a private pool, a spa, and can accommodate 30 to 40 people for social events such as a cocktail reception.”
Have you ever had any extra special request or requirements from brides and grooms?
“Brides and grooms usually want to add their personal touch in the preparations. It usually concerns the wedding cake, the menu, or the ballroom décor which we strive to meet their requirements to the best of our capabilities. We also provide assistance in connecting bride and groom with wedding experts to them in organizing a wedding that truly reflect their personality.”

Following the walk-around, a proposal including our wedding packages and menu options is shared to allow the guests to go through the menu together and curate it to fit their family and guests’ dietary requirements.
